Our Commitment to DLT Compliance — TRAI TCCCPR 2018
The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) introduced the Telecom Commercial Communications Customer Preference Regulations (TCCCPR) 2018, mandating that all commercial SMS in India must be registered and transmitted through the DLT (Distributed Ledger Technology) platform operated by Indian telecom operators.
Fivo SMS is fully integrated with the DLT regulatory framework. Every commercial SMS sent through our platform is validated against registered Principal Entity (PE) details, approved Sender IDs (Headers), pre-registered content templates, and PE–TM binding chain records — in full compliance with TRAI TCCCPR 2018.
We provide our clients with comprehensive DLT onboarding guidance — covering PE registration, Header registration, template registration, and PE–TM binding chain setup with Fivo SMS. Non-compliant traffic is not transmitted through our platform.

All commercial SMS services provided by Fivo SMS are governed by the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India's TCCCPR 2018 regulations. DLT registration is a mandatory legal requirement for all businesses sending commercial SMS in India. Fivo SMS does not transmit unregistered commercial SMS traffic.
All bulk email campaigns and digital communications services provided by Fivo SMS must comply with India's Information Technology Act 2000 and IT Amendment Act 2008. Sending unsolicited commercial communications is prohibited. All campaigns must include valid consent and opt-out mechanisms.
WhatsApp Business Messaging services are provided through Meta's authorised BSP channel and are subject to Meta's WhatsApp Business Policy. All WhatsApp message templates must be pre-approved by WhatsApp before sending. Marketing messages may only be sent to opted-in recipients.
International bulk SMS services routed via ILDO channels are subject to DoT licensing conditions, destination-country telecom regulations, and operator routing policies. All ILDO traffic must comply with applicable content and consent regulations in the destination country.
